Crouching, hidden lions

So the whole morning we were waiting for some lion dancers to come and dance inside the clinic. The bigger groups passed us by. They probably sensed we didn't have thousands and thousands inside our angpao.

Did our pikachu angpao envelope give us away? Was it too cute to be taken seriously?

Here's our angpao strung just beneath the aircon unit. About 7 feet high. No takers.. yet.

An hour later, success!...A lion takes the bait and begins to stealthily creep into our reception area...

He sniffs inside the first operatory...

...then near the stairs... ready to pounce!

He licks our counter for luck... but wait. He looks like a midget lion!?

Our brave lion dancer is actually just a kid inside who's just a wee bit taller than reception counter.

So here he is... being hoisted by another kid... they successfully and swiftly obtained the angpao, galing! Everybody was cheering them on. We had some tourists looking din.

And here is Doc Joanna being mauled into the corner. Heeehee!
